About the Superintendence Committee

The Superintendence Committee has responsibility and powers to discharge all matters of superintendence required by Acts of the General Assembly, including, but not confined to Local Church Review, Discipline, and the general oversight of congregations.

Committee Remit

To discharge matters of superintendence required by Acts of the General Assembly.

To be the point of referral for issues of conflict in congregations and for matters relating to the discipline of ministers, deacons and elders in accordance with the Complaints Procedure agreed by the General Assembly of 2014.
